Robert E. Bukowski, Sr.'s Obituary
With heavy hearts, we remember Robert E. Bukowski, Sr., 76, of Lyncourt, NY, who peacefully passed away on December 14th, 2025. Bob was a devoted husband and the true love of Sharon’s life, sharing a special bond.
A pillar of his community, Bob dedicated countless hours to serving others through his involvement with the Lyncourt Fire Department, the East Syracuse Fire Department, and as a founding and corporate member of E.A.V.E.S Ambulance. His service continued as a Mason and Grand Master of East Syracuse Lodge #806 as well as a Tiger Shriner. His unwavering commitment and generosity extended to the East Syracuse Minoa Spartan Marching Band, where his steadfast support over the years left a lasting impact.
Bob’s legacy lives on through his beloved son, Robert E. Bukowski, Jr., and his wife Jessica of East Syracuse; his sisters, Doreen Smith of Liverpool and Cheryl Foster (Bruce) of Kirkville; his brother Richard Bukowski (Anne) of Florida; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who cherished him deeply. He was also a devoted companion to his two beloved dogs, Lady and Tipper.
He touched many lives with his kindness, strength, and love, and he will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know him.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 12:00 (noon) – 1:45 P.M. followed by a funeral service in celebration of Bob’s life at 2:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
