Robert P. DiMiero's Obituary
Robert P. DiMiero, 60, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family on December 30, 2020. Born in Syracuse, Robert was a 1978 graduate of East Syracuse Minoa High School and received his Associates Degree from Onondaga Community College. He worked as a kitchen and bath designer for Blanding Hardware in Bridgeport, he was an avid Yankees, Cowboys, and Syracuse University sports fan.
Robert was predeceased by his father, Julian A. “Sam” DiMiero.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Mary A. (D’Agostino) DiMiero; his son, Michael R. DiMiero; his mother, Angie J. DiMiero; sisters, Ann (Marshall Vosteen) DiMiero, and Maria (Pat) Farrell; nieces, Haileigh Farrell, and Vanessa Joachin; nephews, Patrick Farrell, Joseph, Christopher, and Zachary D’Agostino; and his brother-in-law, Lou (Tricia) D’Agostino; mother-in-law, Rose D’Agostino; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Robert’s family plans to hold a public memorial service in celebration of his life on a date to be announced in the future. Robert will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Warners, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rob’s memory may be made to a scholarship fund for Michael, payable to Mary A. DiMiero, c/o Mackenzie Hughes LLP 440 S. Warren St. Suite 400 Syracuse, NY 13202.
