Robert H. Killius' Obituary
Robert H. Killius, 91, of Liverpool NY, passed away November 19, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
He was born in Saranac Lake, NY, son of the late Carl Killius and Emma (Mutter) Killius.
Robert graduated from North High School in 1950 and received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University in 1959. He served four years in Korea as an Aerial Photo Specialist. Robert spent his entire career at General Electric working as an Electrical Engineer, specializing in radar and sonar. He was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool and a lifetime VFW member. He was an avid SU fan, loved table tennis, bowling, skiing and golfing. Robert also enjoyed traveling extensively through Europe and the Middle East.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Carl and Walter and sister, Mary (Raven).
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Beverly (Capone) Killius; sons, Mark (Shane), James (Krista), and Wayne (Julie), along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Epiphany Parish (formerly St. Joseph the Worker Church) 1001 Tulip St., Liverpool, NY. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt.
