Robert A. "Bob" Kolakowski's Obituary
Robert A. “Bob” Kolakowski, 81, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Crouse Hospital. Bob was born in Syracuse to the late Anthony and Jane (Chrostowski) Kolakowski.
Bob worked in maintenance for the Town of Salina and retired from there after nearly 40 years of service. Bob loved sports and enjoyed watching his favorite teams, which included the NY Yankees, Buffalo Bills, and all Syracuse University teams. Bob entered this world facing challenges that he would manage and overcome, while loving life and living it to his fullest, he was an inspiration to all he met.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his nephew, Scott Wilson.
Bob is survived by his sister and caregiver, Judy Wilson; his nieces, Tammy (Jim) Coyne and Judi (Matt) Smith; along with his great-nieces and nephews, Tyler (Val) Coyne, Ryan Wilson, Teagan Coyne, and Matilyn Smith.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Bob will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
