Robert J. Malinowski Jr.'s Obituary
Robert J. Malinowski, Jr., 50, of Liverpool, passed away on October 24, 2019 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born in Albany to the late Robert, Sr. and Susan (Sturgis) Malinowski and was a loving and quick-witted brother, uncle, and best friend to many. Robert loved the outdoors and was enthusiastic about hunting, fishing, shooting, and camping. When he wasn’t appreciating the wilderness, Robert enjoyed music, cooking, and spending quality time with his family and friends, especially partying with his two close friends, Mary and Jack; however, his biggest passion in life were his nephews. Robert spent many years in the hotel and restaurant business, most recently with Red Robin. He lived every moment of his life to the fullest, always being known for being a man who worked hard and played harder.
He is predeceased by his parents, Robert, Sr. and Susan (Sturgis) Malinowski.
Robert is survived by his sister, Jill (John Murphy) Malinowski of Clay; nephews, Gunnar Zobenica of Mallory, NY, Gabriel and Christian Murphy, of Clay; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
A funeral service in celebration of Robert’s life will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11:30 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
