Robert "Bob" McDonnell's Obituary
Robert "Bob" McDonnell, 63, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a graduate of St. Joseph's Catholic High School and attended St. Bonaventure University. Bob was previously employed with Haines Publishing Company. He coached recreational soccer leagues in East Syracuse. Bob enjoyed outdoor activities and sports especially camping, bocce and football. He was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan. Bob also enjoyed listening to Bruce Springsteen and spending time on the Jersey Shore.
He is survived by his loving children, Kevin (Jenn) McDonnell of North Syracuse, Brian McDonnell of St. Petersburg, FL and Lindsey (Andrew) Jakubowski of Syracuse; two grandchildren, Olivia and Breanne McDonnell of North Syracuse; a brother, Richard (Cathy) McDonnell of Bloomsbury, NJ and his former wife, Marianne McDonnell of Lutz, FL.
Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Friday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm with a funeral service immediately following.
