Robert C. Morrison's Obituary
Robert C. Morrison, 86, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Upstate University Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Charles and Martha Morrison. Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran. Robert retired from IBM after 30 years of dedicated service. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, and NY Giants fan. Most importantly, Robert loved spending time with family and friends, especially his Moonlight Bay friends.
He was predeceased by his sister, Arlene Casey and brother-in-law, Jack Casey.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Josephine A. (Amato) Morrison; his daughter, Beth (Matthew) Boylhart; two step-grandsons, Patrick and Timothy Boylhart; six great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 9:30 – 10:30 am, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Robert’s life at 10:30 am at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
