Mr Pietrafesa was my first boss and, no doubt, one of my best.
This was back in the mid to late 1950's and I mowed the lawn at his family house in Fayetteville, New York. It was a big lawn and it slanted fairly steeply away from the house; but he trusted me and taught me how to use his sit down mower--a very big deal for a 13-16 year old kid. He was always positive and encouraging to me even though, in retrospect, I feel badly that I was not more conscientious about my trimming and edging.
I send my heatfelt condolences, thoughts of good times, and prayers to all the beautiful Pietrafesa girls and to Robert.
We all feel proud that we knew your father but no where near the pride you all should feel that he was such a good man who served his family, his community, his church, and his God so well and you were the primary witnesses to his legacy and are integral parts of it.
Very respectfully,
Rex B Fitch Jr (Brum)
