Robert Joseph Reale's Obituary
Robert Joseph Reale, 57, of Syracuse, New York, passed away on March 27, 2020 after fighting pancreatic cancer for 9 years with faith, courage and relentless optimism. Bob was a loving husband, father, entrepreneur and, most importantly, a man who loved life and family. He received a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from R.I.T. and a Master’s in Education from the University of New England. His career included employment as an Engineering Manager at SSAC and as a Math teacher at Fulton High School. He was the youngest of 7 children born to the late Jennie and John Reale.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Albertina (Tina) Goncalves Reale, his two daughters, Stacy (Eric) DiCapua and Alyssa (Anthony) Worlock; six siblings, JoAnn (Vincent) Lombardi, Sarah Remon, Carol Dippold, John (Diane) Reale, Kathleen (Patrick) Vassallo and Patricia (James) Ayers and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bob’s talents included all aspects of home improvement. Bob was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan and he loved his Fantasy Football and S.U. basketball and football. He also loved going to Camp Sarah in Preble where he found tranquil solace; and, in 2017, he organized a family reunion for over 200 people.
Calling hours will take place on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Robert's life at 6:00 PM.
