Robert A. "Bob" Restani's Obituary
Robert A. “Bob” Restani, 73, of Clay, NY, passed away Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Thomas and Fannie (Traino) Restani. Bob was a Parts Manager with Koerner Ford of Syracuse for 42 years, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed classic car shows and was so proud of his 1962 Ford Galaxie winning first prize multiple times at The Syracuse Nationals. Bob also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his two brothers, Thomas A. “Tete” Restani and Raymond C. Restani.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Sandra “Sandy” (Feher) Restani; his son, Robert A. (Linda) Restani, Jr. of Clay; his daughter, Melissa A. Restani (Robert Jones) of Sterling, MA; three grandchildren, Julia and Christine Restani, and Thomas Jones; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 AM on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Bob’s life at 9:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
