Robert Louis Sanders' Obituary
Robert Louis Sanders, 62, of Liverpool, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Macon, GA, son of Agnes Pearline Gray and Herman Jabe Sanders. Robert was a journeymen electrician and employed with Sonitrol Security Solutions (ADT), General Electric, Martin-Marrieta, Lockheed-Martin, New Venture Gear, ANC Civilian Air-Force, and WestRock Inc. He enjoyed playing the drums, muscle cars, building and programing computers; anything he could take apart. Robert was known for his humor and never took a picture without eyes crossed.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Alley) Sanders; two sons, David Robert (Melanie Lynn) Sanders of Rock Hill, SC and Robert William Sanders of Liverpool; four grandchildren, David R. Sanders, Jr., James R. Sanders, Logan T. Sanders, and Ava Grace Sanders; his sister, Theresa (Andy) Johnson of Tunnel Hill, GA; two uncles, Frederick (Patti) Sanders and William (Cindy) Sanders, his best-friend Charlie Corgnell; brother-in-law, William (Linda) Alley; sister-in-law, Deborah Pautler; two nieces, Crystal and Katie Alley, and nephew, William Alley.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Robert’s life at 11:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
