Robert M. Schmeling's Obituary
Robert M. Schmeling, 77, longtime resident of Clay, NY passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 16, 2020. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Kurt and Annette (Dragona) Schmeling. Robert worked as a successful Tool and Dye maker for over 50 years with Crouse Hinds. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing.
In addition to Robert’s parents, he is predeceased by several siblings.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Sandra L. (Griffin) Schmeling; a daughter Jacqueline A. Schmeling; a sister Marcia Schmeling, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Per Robert’s wishes, funeral services are private. Entombment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Dewitt, NY.
