Robert F. Stewart, Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Franklin Stewart, Jr., 81, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2022. Robert was born in Mount Airy, NC, son of the late Clara Edith (Reynolds) and Robert F. Stewart, Sr. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, serving 9 ½ years as a Navy Flight Engineer. Robert owned a trucking company in NC and worked for Schlitz in NC. He moved to Liverpool in 1976 and worked at Schlitz Brewery in Baldwinsville; Robert retired from Anheuser Busch in 1995. He enjoyed NASCAR, football, reading, and porch sitting with family and friends.
Robert is survived by his wife, Claire C. (McLaughlin) Stewart; a stepson, James Phillip McBride (Linda) of Winston-Salem, NC, and his stepdaughter, Kimberly McLaughlin of Liverpool.
The family would like to thank the Syracuse VA Medical Center for their support and care.
There will be no calling hours. Robert’s family will host a private celebration of life.
