I was so very sorry to hear of Rocco's passing. My sincere condolences to the entire family. He was a Friend and Neighbor of mine here in East Syracuse. I have known him for many years, From the Barber shop up the street from me, from driving by my house and beeping, from seeing him play at the Fair, and at Elevate (Gold's Gym) where I chatted with him every week, and our Italian heritage. I know he will be dearly missed by Family and Friends, to which there are so many. I know you will have many happy memories to hold and to share.

Dear Mimma and family, Our heartfelt sympathy to you all on Rocco's passing. We have many wonderful memories. In our younger days we looked forward to every Saturday night. Gene and I drove from Cortland to Syracuse, regardless of the weather, to dance to the music of "Augie and Rocco" Our favorites were the "Tarantella" and "Blue Spanish Eyes". We followed them from restaurant to restaurant for many years. Also we often reminisce of the enjoyable time we had when you and Rocco visited Morolo. May you and your family find some measure of comfort in remembering the good times you shared together. I'd like to think that Rocco is up there playing the "tarantella" on his accordion for his friends and relatives. My deepest and most sincere love go out to the Cambareri family. I had the ultimate pleasure of meeting Rocco and Mimma when their amazing son, Antonio hosted their visit to the west coast. Tony took them all over: Los Angeles, Vegas, and the wine country.

One very special occasion Tony hosted Rocco and Mimma’s anniversary at his home in SF and after a beautiful dinner, Rocco played accordion for all of us. It was such a special treat...a memory I will never forget.

My friend, Tony is such a loving and giving friend; it is clear to me how he became this way.

Rocco gave me my first haircut at Franklin Plaza when I was 3. I since moved from Syracuse and ran into him at Wagmans a couple of years ago and he still remembered me. RIP Rocco. Prayers to the family for this great man.

I send my prayers and deepest sympathies to the entire Cambareri. Rocco was part of my life for many years. I first me Rocco many years ago at Bally's fitness which is now Planet Fitness. Then he moved to Golds Gym and many followed. I will miss our conversations in the hot tub and Sauna about his life. We always connected and he always was such a joy to talk too along with his brother in law John. I will miss him terribly and may he rest in peace.
