Roger P. Hand, Sr.'s Obituary
Roger P. Hand, Sr., 74, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Paul and Arlene Hand. Roger was the owner and operator of Roger Hand’s Drapery Installation, specializing in custom window treatment draperies.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jeanette (Fiume) Hand; three sons, Roger P. (Mariann) Hand, Jr. of Syracuse, John A. (Victoria) Hand of Liverpool and Shawn J. (Nadine Sadowski) Hand of Liverpool; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Bruce (Julie) Hand of Lyncourt; his sister, Pamela Perkins of Brewerton, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Roger’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
