Roland "Ron" Bisaillon's Obituary
Roland “Ron” Bisaillon, 91, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cahoes, NY to the late Annette (Nadeau) and Lionel Bisaillon, Roland served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon completion of his military service, he attended Hudson Valley Community College and obtained his associate degree, he then worked as a draftsman for 35 dedicated years at Carrier. Roland enjoyed fishing, bowling, gardening, tennis, and spending time with his family any chance he could.
Along with his parents, Roland is predeceased by his siblings, Rev. Rene Bisaillon, Joseph “Freddy” Bisaillon, and Irene Favreau.
Roland is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Nancy Jean (Rinefierd) Bisaillon; children, Teresa (Brian) Lozano, and John (Michelle) Bisaillon; grandchildren, Pascal, and Nora Ines Bisaillon; siblings, Rita Reynolds, Jeannette Cox, and Richard Bisaillon; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Roland’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial with military honors will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will take place on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY 13212.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Roland’s memory may be made to St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St. North Syracuse, NY 13212.
