Romeo G. "Butch" Hart's Obituary
Romeo G."Butch" Hart, 68, of Minoa, passed away suddenly on Tuesday. A native of Massena, he resided in the Syracuse area for the past 50 years. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1963. Romeo was employed by the Carrier Corporation, UTC Division for 28 years before his retirement. He was an avid collector of Baseball Cards. Romeo loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and especially made it a priority to help care for others before himself.
He was predeceased by his parents, Romeo J. and Margaret Hart and his brother, Roger. Romeo is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy R. (Romeo) Hart; two sons, Steven W. (Noelle) Hart of California and Jonathan R. Hart of, Minoa; four grandchildren, Travis (Hannah), Brooke, Myla and Julian; a great-granddaughter, Poppy; his siblings, Rachel (David) Perry of Memphis, NY, Andrew (Kathy) Hart of Massena, Regent (Carol) Hart of Massena; Rene (Barbara) Hart of Massena and Sylvia (Joseph) Cordwell of Massena, his beloved sister-in-law, Sandra Hart of Myrtle Beach along with many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are Romeo's Beloved "Strays", Dan & Carol Conlon, James & Robin Conlan, Scott & Kathy Farnett, Jay Barnwell, Mike Cerilli, Todd Williams, Bill Bronner and any other of Romeo's special people that we missed by name but treasure in our hearts. Also we acknowledge his Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:45 am Saturday in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:00 am in St. Cecilia's Church in Solvay, where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Family and Friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd. ) North Syracuse on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
