Ron E. Bowerman's Obituary
Ron E. Bowerman suddenly passed away with his loving family surrounding him on Sunday August 21,2022 at the age of 71, after battling several health issues over the past few years. Ron was an impassioned businessman who started Bowerman Management Group (aka- Bowerman Associates Inc.) in 1980, spending 42-years as a commercial restaurant equipment manufacturer’s rep in the Upstate New York area. So many knew him as a trusted colleague, respected mentor, and especially as a loyal friend from the industry and alike.
In 2017, after decades of companionship, and romance, Ron married the love of his life Judy Bowerman. Together, they cherished time with their beloved family and friends immeasurably.
Ron was always in the pursuit of knowledge and bettering himself in several aspects of his life. A few organizations he spoke highly of and took part in was Toastmasters International and attending Dale Carnegie professional development courses. He had a sharp eagle’s eye on the stock market even from a very young age and continued to throughout his life. Anyone that encountered him, knew he was an avid admirer of Steve Jobs and was always impressed with the cutting-edge technology, yet simple design with everything Apple Inc. made.
In his free time, Ron enjoyed going to the movies, attending SU sporting events, watching Pro Football, basketball, playing and watching golf. Family always came first in his book, and he loved spending memorable moments with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was always there with his firm yet loving guidance, often through the stories he would tell of how he came to be where his was today.
Ron and Judy were always known to be charitable and over the years would often extend their table to others and offer a helping hand when needed.
We are all saddened beyond words and will deeply miss the loving husband, amazing father, and “Papa” that we came to know and love. There truly is no one in this world that will ever be able to fill his shoes. May he finally rest in peace knowing his legacy will live on in all that he touched, Especially the people that he cherished the most in this world.
