Ronald C. Patton's Obituary
Ronald C. Patton, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Crouse Hospital on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. He was born in Spencerport, NY, son of the late Carl and Helen (Wickman) Patton. Ron’s career was in the carpet business, most recently for Richmark Carpet. He was an avid classic car enthusiast and enjoyed the Syracuse Nationals. He also loved to read mystery and crime drama books.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Joyce (Gifford) Patton; two daughters, Leslie P. (David) Neira and Alison P. Neuman (Larry Phillips); his son, Roger Patton; two grandchildren, Matthew and Justin Neuman; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Warren and Skip Patton; two sisters, Shirley Hill and Gayle Grandy, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 10 am – 12 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Ron’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A graveside service will take place at 12 pm on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Garland Cemetery, 7743 Ridge Rd., W., Brockport, NY.
