Ronald E. Reagan's Obituary
Ronald E. Reagan, 70, of Syracuse, passed away August 22, 2023 at Upstate Community Hospital. He was born in New Castle, Indiana, son of the late Charles and Ella (Atkins) Reagan. Ronald retired from New Venture Gear after 32 dedicated years of service. He loved his 79 Corvette, although spending time with family was most important. Ronald was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers, Charles, Jack and Rick Reagan.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Karen A. (Trinca) Reagan; two sons, Ronald Reagan, Jr. and Brian Reagan (Ernesto Peña-Reagan); two grandchildren, Alana Reagan and Dylan Reagan; his sister, Shirley Zak, along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:30 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Ronald’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
