Rosaria (Patane) Campolo's Obituary
Rosaria (Patane) Campolo, 74, of Syracuse, passed away August 2, 2022, at Sunnyside Care Center. She was born in Italy to Sebastian and Luisa (LaRocca) Patane and immigrated to the United States in 1956 on the SS Andrea Doria. Rosaria worked for Julius Resnick Inc, and General Electric, before retiring from Syracuse China after many dedicated years of working. She enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, and taking care of her beautiful flower gardens.
Surviving are her loving husband of 54 years, Domenico Campolo; her son, Vincenzo Campolo (Gloria) of Syracuse and her daughter, Antonietta (James) Briggs of Texas; two brothers, Antonio (Anna) Patane and Biagio Patane; and several nieces and nephews in Italy and America survive her. She leaves behind 3 grand puppies (Bruno, Xena, and Mr. T.).
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 am on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Rosaria’s life at 9:30 am in St. John the Baptist Church, 406 Court St. Syracuse. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
