Rosaria "Sarah" Martin's Obituary
Rosaria "Sarah" (DiMento) Martin, 73, of Baldwinsville, passed away Friday at Syracuse Home. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from North High School in 1958. Sarah was employed at Service Liquor when she met her husband, David R. Martin who passed away in 2003. She also worked at Dey Brothers and Marshall's and retired from SSAC where she was employed from 1993 to 2008. Sarah loved taking care of her household plants and collecting Precious Moments figurines. She also enjoyed Nascar racing and watching old movies.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph DiMento and two brothers, Joseph and Frank DiMento. Sarah is survived by her two sons, Charles E. (Mary) Martin and David M. (Angela) Martin, both of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren, Jordan, Coby, Jenna, Alyssa and David; two brothers, Anthony "Nino" (Marietta) DiMento of Dewitt and Bartolo DiMento of Bridgeport; a sister, Genevieve DiMento of Syracuse along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
