Rose Anne (Kurtz) Cahill's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Rosie, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She left this world peacefully surrounded by her family on October 31, 2018, at the age of 69. She has left to cherish her memory, the love of her life for over 45 years, her loving husband and best friend who never left her side during her 9 month battle with cancer, John Cahill; her three children, Kevin Cahill (Elizabeth), Karen Chapman (Steve) and Chrissy Lynch; her 6 grandchildren whom she adored more than anything, Nathan, Colin, Lila, Brayden, Jack and Chelsea and her dog Kaylee and grand dogs. She also leaves behind a brother, Tim Kurtz (Kathy); sister, Mary Sue Kurtz (Roland) and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Kurtz.
Rosie had the biggest heart and loved life and lived for the happiness of her family to whom she brought much joy and laughter. We will forever miss her witty sense of humor, warm smile and the kindness she showed to all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call from 3:00 – 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
