Rose (DeSiato) Armani's Obituary
Rose Armani, 89, passed away July 3, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves behind her adoring family; her three loving daughters, Luanne (Mark) Christensen, Joyce (Michael) Linnenbach and Katherine Mogle; seven grandchildren, Lindsey (Hernando) Nieto, Morgan Christensen, Miles Basil, John Linnenbach, Christine Linnenbach, Jeffrey Mogle and Bryan Mogle; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. She will be missed by cherished friends, Salina Seniors, “club”, and her special lifetime friends Thomas and Babe Mick, and Josie Caronna.
Rose was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, born and raised on the North Side. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph Armani, in 2006, and her four brothers, Michael, Joseph, Sam and John DeSiato.
Rose was a homemaker, and employed by Mass Mutual, where she was honored by the dedication of a conference room in her name.
Rose’s life was her family; she enjoyed cooking, playing cards and Scrabble, and trips to the casino.
Rose’s family would like to thank Dr. Mary Daye for lifelong friendship and care.
Funeral services for Rose will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday July 7, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Rose’s life at Immaculate Heart of Mary at 10:00 A.M. Interment will take place in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 4 – 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
