Rose M. (Corso) Arno's Obituary
Rose M. (Corso) Arno, 94, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Loretto Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Pagano) Corso. Rose enjoyed sewing and cooking. Above all, she loved her family; they were most important to her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carmen J. Arno, Sr. in 1990 and nine siblings.
Rose is survived by four children, Carmen J. (Tonhom) Jr. of CA., Rosemary Arno of Cicero, Kathleen Tarbell of N. Syracuse, and Joanne (Gary) Dailey of NC; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Theresa Farnett, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, September 7, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Rose’s life at 10:00 am in St. Margaret’s Church, Mattydale. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
