Rose I. (Tomarchio) D'Agostino's Obituary
Rose I. (Tomarchio) D’Agostino, 92, of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fulton, NY, daughter of the late Rosario and Serafina (Russo) Tomarchio. Rose worked many dedicated years for Onondaga County at the Civic Center. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and a member of the Salina Seniors, LACE Dance Club, St. Joseph Seniors, and RPEA. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Louis A. D’Agostino; her brother Salvatore Tomarchio and son-in-law Robert DiMiero.
Rose is survived by her loving children, Mary DiMiero and Lou (Tricia) D’Agostino; four grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher and Zachary D’Agostino and Michael DiMiero; her brother Maurice Tomarchio, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Rose’s life will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in Epiphany Parish at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1001 Tulip Street, Liverpool. Rose will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Warners, NY. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
