Rose M. (Abdo) Hawa's Obituary
Rose M. (Abdo) Hawa, 91, of Syracuse, passed away July 4, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Abraham and Eveline (Abboud) Abdo. Rose was a member of St. Elias Orthodox Church.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband, Alexander Hawa in 1999, and her daughter, Evie Hawa in 2012.
Rose is survived by her children, Nimer (Lori) Hawa, Yvonne (Nick) Abdo and Karen (Tony) Caporizzo; grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Jeremy, Jackie, Jonathan, Ashley and A.J.; 7 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Rose’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 8, 2022 in St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church. Entombment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Elias Orthodox Church Building Fund, 4988 Onondaga Rd., Syracuse, NY 13215.
