Rose Marie (Venuti) Davidsons' Obituary
Rose Marie (Venuti) Davidsons, 85, life resident of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Upstate University Hospital on January 12, 2023. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Maderi) Venuti. Rose Marie worked as a librarian for many dedicated years, retiring from White Branch Library in Syracuse. She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing the organ, working with stained glass, and crocheting blankets for family.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Aivars Davidsons in 2021; her brother, Dominick Venuti in 2004; and her sister, JoAnna Mancari in 2013.
Rose Marie is survived by her nieces and nephews, Frank (Kelly) Mancari, Jennifer (John) Stapleton, Tracy (Jeremy) Clark and Matthew (Amy) Mancari, along with several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

A Funeral Mass in celebration of Rose Marie’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
