Rose Marie Martin's Obituary
Rose Marie Martin, 70, of Brewerton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from North High School in 1960. Rose came from very humble beginnings, making pizza at the Country Squire to becoming the top selling Century 21 Agent in CNY by selling 2 million dollars of residential real-estate in the first six months of 1981 while raising three boys as a single mother. She loved cooking, playing dice and sun bathing. Rose cherished the time she spent with her sons and their families. She was known to her grandchildren as "G". She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Walter Baird. Rose is survived by her 3 sons, AJ (Chris), Scott (Luanne) and Tim (Jennifer); 6 grandchildren, Jake, Toby, Brandon, Michaela, Caleb and Elijah; sisters, Beverly, Mimi, Patricia and Peggy; brothers, Tom and Jack; many nieces and nephews and special thanks to her wonderful friend and neighbor, Michelle. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 9 to 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
