Rose Toscano's Obituary
Rose Toscano, 93, peacefully passed away Tuesday at Horizon Bay in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Prior to moving to Florida, Rose lived in Liverpool, NY where she worked at LeMoyne Manor with her family for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Toscano and her son, Andrew M. Toscano. She is survived by three children, Joseph C. Toscano, Susanne (Tursi) Sabre (David) and Anna Toscano (Barry Herbst); two brothers, Frank J. Montanaro (Marge) and Tony Montanaro (Lucy); daughter-in-law, Margaret Toscano; six grandchildren, Melissa Stille, Michael Tursi (Nicole), Nikki Toscano-Xuereb (Salvator), Kori Campbell (Shawn), Andrew Herbst and Jeremy Herbst; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 8:30 a.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool, NY, where a mass celebrating her life will be offered. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Road, (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
