Rosemarie N. DeSocio-Ryther, 90, of Camillus, passed away August 12, 2022 at St. Joseph’s
Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Anthony and Frances (Urciuoli)
Groginski. Rosemarie worked in a variety of occupations, department store salesclerk, school
cafeteria worker, and bank teller.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her first husband, Michael F. DeSocio in

Rosemarie is survived by her daughters, Francine (Richard) Graham and Lisa (James) Wright;
grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Matthew, Phineous, Emily, Jennifer, David and Nicholas;
great-grandchildren, Mia, Natalie, Jayla and Amari; and many nieces and nephews.
Rosemarie’s whole world was her family. She loved all of them deeply. She also loved dancing
and dining out. She was a fantastic cook; her pasta sauce, and bar-be-que ribs were amazing. She also had a kooky sense of humor.
Special thanks to the ER and Floor I-4 staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their attentive and
unwavering care to our mother/grandmother. You are the best.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 10:45 – 11:45 am at St. Joseph’s
