RoseMary (Mazzye) Bersani's Obituary
RoseMary (Mazzye) Bersani, 82, of North Syracuse, died peacefully in her sleep at home on June 10, 2020. RoseMary was born in Syracuse to the late Joseph and Mary (Provo) Mazzye and graduated from North High School. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church.
RoseMary met the love of her life, her husband, Armand H. Bersani on a blind date and knew that they were made for each other and would spend the rest of their lives together. Unfortunately, RoseMary lost the love of her life in 1992, they were married for 35 years. They had a successful business together, Bersani Hardware and Building Supply, for over 30 years proudly serving the community in which they raised their children and lived. She was always involved with her girls and grandchildren activities at North Syracuse High School.
RoseMary was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters, Christina (Bersani) Holloway and Deborah (Bersani) Tambasco; three grandchildren, Eric J. Holloway, Andrea R. Holloway and Mia C. Tambasco; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Frank Mazzye; two sisters, Patricia Lando and Tillie Recchie, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private funeral services entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. RoseMary will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Assumption Cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Bank of CNY or NAVAC.
