Rosemary (Capolongo) Bovalino's Obituary
Rosemary (Capolongo) Bovalino, 91, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Rosemary was born in Syracuse to the late Frank and Rosalie (Grillo) Capolongo. She worked at Carrier Corporation as an Executive Secretary. Rosemary taught faith formation at Holy Family Church for over 40 years and most of all, enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.
Along with her parents, Rosemary is predeceased by her brothers, Frederick, and John Capolongo.
Rosemary is survived by her loving husband, Francis R. “Frank” Bovalino; children, Michael (Donna) Bovalino, Dominick Bovalino, Rosalie Clise, Frank (Jayne) Bovalino, and Diane (fiancée Brian) Bovalino; grandchildren, Kristin (James) Nicoll, Michelle, and Nicholas (Colleen) Bovalino, Matthew and Brendan Cullinan, Alex, Evan, and Madison Clise; great-grandchildren, Michael, and Andrew Nicoll; brother, James Capolongo; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Crouse Hospital.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse. A burial will follow at Onondaga County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
