Rosemary "Babe" (Favalo) Mick's Obituary
Rosemary “Babe” (Favalo) Mick, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021, with her daughter by her side. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Frank and Antonetta (Richiutti) Favalo. Rosemary was a bookkeeper at several local companies including Penfield Manufacturing, Syracuse Tank and Liverpool Sports Center. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and enjoyed volunteering for many activities there. She also enjoyed sewing and being an amateur archivist, organizing dozens of files of newspaper and magazine articles on finances, health, and local happenings.
Rosemary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Thomas Mick; her son, Thomas Mick, Jr.; brothers, John Favalo and Pantaleo “Pat” Favalo; beloved nephew, John Favalo; niece, Sharon (Favalo) Sechler sisters in law, Alberta “Pat” Favalo, Helen Favalo, Elizabeth “Betty” Burgan, and Beverly Wilbur; brother-in-law, James Mick; her dearest friend of 80 years, Rose Armani.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Mick; caring niece, Donna Favalo; longtime close friends, Ann Delvecchio and Cathie Albertson; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Ave. Liverpool, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Road) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Babe’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, PO Box 12226, Syracuse, NY 13218.
