Rosemary Panto's Obituary
Rosemary Panto, 93, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday at Loretto Nursing Home. She was born in Geneva, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Donato) Panto. Rosemary retired from General Electric in 1981 after 27 years of service. She loved playing bingo with her friends at Vinette Towers. She also enjoyed playing cards with her brother Joe and friends. Rosemary loved going to senior dinners with her brother Carmen. Family always came first; she loved going to all the birthday parties, holiday celebrations and cookouts.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Carmen Panto, Joseph (Margaret) Panto, John (Jeannette) Panto, and Thomas (Hilda) Panto; her sisters, Mary (Tony) Stefanski and Concetta (Tony) Sartorio.
Rosemary is survived by her brother, Norman (Pina) Panto of Thousand Oaks, CA, along with many nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Loretto, Cunningham, 9th floor, for their compassionate care of Rosemary.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Rosemary’s life at 12:00 PM (noon) in St. John the Baptist Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
