Rosemary (Carella) Pisegna's Obituary
Rosemary (Carella) Pisegna, 91, of Liverpool, passed away on June 11, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Joseph and Angela (Cerio) Carella.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Mark Pisegna, and three sisters, Dolores Carella, Anne DeJulio and Toni Barber. Rosemary is survived by Albert M. Pisegna her beloved husband of 71 years, three children, Michael (Kathy) Pisegna of Syracuse, Rosanne (Matthew) Earley of Clay and Matthew (Jennifer) Pisegna of Liverpool, five grandchildren, Bartholomew, Beth Ann, Brian, Daniel and Marissa Rose, five great-grandchildren, and her brother, Joseph Carella of Liverpool, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rosemary loved being a seamstress and designer. She worked for Singer Sewing Co. for many years and was a teller for Chase Bank. She had many talents and interests. She loved quilting, sewing, cooking, but was a modern woman who was active on social media. The greatest love of her life though, was spending time with her family.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 10 am – 12 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Rosemary’s life will follow at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. Private burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
