RoseMary (Corsello) Sobol's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of RoseMary Sobol. RoseMary was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who entered her eternal rest on November 28, 2025. She passed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Born on October 5,1949, RoseMary lived a life defined by compassion, strength and an unwavering love for her family and friends. RoseMary dedicated herself to creating a warm and welcoming home and was there for every milestone, challenge and moment in between. One of her favorite hobbies was watching her grandchildren grow. You could always find her on the sidelines of her grandchildren’s sporting events or in the audience for plays and concerts. RoseMary spent decades as a classroom teacher for the Liverpool Central School District where she made a positive impact on the lives of many students.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Martha Corsello and husband, Bernard Sobol, with whom she is now reunited with in heaven.
She leaves behind her children, Krista Krause and Mark (Amy) Krause; her grandchildren, Ethan, Kelan, Ellie, Samuel, Adelina and Emma; her brother, Julian (Nan) Corsello and their children, Sarah (Mike) and Steven (Alex). RoseMary is also survived by her loving dog, Kaci.
A homegoing service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life, her faith and the promise of eternal life through Christ. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Friday, December 5, 2025 at St. Margaret’s Church, 200 Roxboro Rd., Mattydale, NY.
