Rosemary A. (Fabian) Vavalo's Obituary
Rosemary A. (Fabian) Vavalo passed away peacefully on Saturday at the Francis House. Rosemary was born in Chicago the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Fabian. Rosemary was a world traveler and had legions of friends throughout her life, to name a few; "Ladies of the Lake", her friends in the book club, her fellow ballroom dancers and her trusted tennis partners. Rosemary worked for Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC for over 15 years prior to being the vice president of J. Michael Shoes, for 30 years working together with John D. Vavalo. Besides her parents, Rosemary was pre-deceased by her brother Michael Fabian, and her sister Marion Fabian. She is survived by her son, John (Lisbeth) Vavalo, her 2 grandchildren Jade Amelia Vavalo and Ava Leigh Vavalo of Syracuse, her former husband John D. Vavalo also of Syracuse; her brother Karl (Jadwiga) Fabian of Chicago, her 3 nephews Tom Fabian of Chicago, Michael Fabian Jr. of Florida, Andrew Fabian of Wisconsin.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday September 26, 2012 at 1pm in St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 1308 Meadowbrook Drive, Syracuse, NY 13224-1718
