Rosetta M. Tagliamonte Wilson's Obituary
Rosetta M. Tagliamonte Wilson, 84, of Syracuse, NY, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at Elderwood at Liverpool. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Cosmo and Virginia (Lucarelli) Napoletano. Rosetta graduated from The Convent School (Maria Regina College) in 1956. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years raising her children and then went on to work in Healthcare for several Syracuse area physicians. Rosetta enjoyed dancing and cooking for family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her former husband, Charles Tagliamonte.
Rosetta is survived by her daughter, Linda M. Tagliamonte (John Inserra) of Utica; two sons, Daniel Tagliamonte (Allyson Thibodeau) of Jamesville and Michael Tagliamonte of N. Syracuse; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Z. Tagliamonte, Taylor A. (Robert) Tagliamonte-Edick and Michael D. Tagliamonte; two great-grandchildren, Antonia Edick and Santino Edick.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Rosetta’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
