Russell G. Heater's Obituary
Russell G. Heater, 65, of Phoenix, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was born in Meshoppen, PA, and resided in the CNY area for many years. Russell was employed with the James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant. He loved fishing and looked forward to family camping trips around the country. Russell also enjoyed NASCAR racing.
He was predeceased by his father, Elmer Heater and his sister, Patricia Heater.
Russell is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Michelle (Ambrose) Heater; three daughters, Jennifer (Drew) Miller, Allyson (Ryan) O’Malley and Monica (Mike) Fuller; grandchildren, Logan and Julie Miller, Grace, Lilly, Fletcher, and Cassidy O’Malley and soon to be, Liam Fuller; his mother, Elizabeth (Alex) Hunter; his sister, Lucinda Bridges; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Russell’s life at 6:30 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
