Sabine D. (VanOrman) Terranova's Obituary
Sabine D. (VanOrman) Terranova, 55, of Syracuse, passed away at home on Saturday, December 24, 2016. She was born in Germany, and resided in the Syracuse area for many years. Sabine was a Store Coordinator at Wegmans on James Street for 15 years. She was an avid reader, looked forward to vacations on the beach, and loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Anna Terranova in 2014.
Sabine is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Michael Terranova; her son, Jeffrey Terranova of San Diego, CA; her daughter, Katelyn (Jon) Dumigan of Syracuse; her grandson, Alex Dumigan; parents, William and Christa (Schuck) VanOrman of Bridgeport, NY; one sister, Laurie Hill (Mitch Ely) of Syracuse; one brother, William (Ruthie) VanOrman of Watertown, NY, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 AM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Sabine’s life at 9:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
