Salvatore Strazzeri's Obituary
Salvatore Strazzeri, 91, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Catania Sicily, Italy, son of the late Salvatore and Lucia (Vecchio) Strazzeri. Salvatore worked as a mechanic at CNY Centro for many dedicated years. He enjoyed gardening and making homemade wine, but most of all, loved spending time with family, especially his cherished grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by eight siblings.
Salvatore is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Anna (Anelli) Strazzeri; two daughters, Shirley A. Strazzeri and Rita L. (Steve) Tatem; four grandchildren; three siblings, Francisco, Anna and Angelino; along with several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass in celebration of Salvatore’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Assumption Church, 812 N. Salina St., Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
