Samuel J. Barbagallo's Obituary
Samuel J.Barbagallo, 95, of Syracuse, passed away Friday with his loving family by his side. He was born in Collamer, NY the son of the late Angelo and Concetta (Coco) Barbagallo. Sam served in the US Navy on board the Destroyer. He was a Tool and Die Maker with Allen Tool for 37 years, retiring in 1983. Sam was a devout parishioner of St. Daniel Church. He was a member of the Moose Club and Mattydale Seniors. He was also an avid golfer and won many trophy's for bowling. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Madeline Barbagallo in 1999 and his son, Sammy Barbagallo in 1976. Sam is survived by his daughter, Delores (Jay) Rush of Liverpool; two grandchildren, Gary D. Faust of Ohio and Gina (James) Twiss of Liverpool; six great-grandchildren, Tasha, Gary R., Miranda, Nick, Jamie and Ella along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 12:10 pm in St. Daniel Church, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
