Samuel S. Locastro's Obituary
Samuel S. Locastro, 95, passed away January 24, 2019. He was born in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Egidio and Francesca (Raite) Locastro. Sam was a U.S. WWII veteran and worked as a self-employed trucker.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary J. Locastro and 4 siblings. Sam is survived by his son, James J. Locastro (Christine Eells); 2 grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters; his sister, Natalie Losurdo; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 4 – 6 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Samuel’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Private entombment will be in Assumption Mausoleum.
