Samuel J. Pascarella's Obituary
Samuel J. Pascarella, 86, of N. Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2024.
He was born in Syracuse, son of the late John and Anna (Cottzolla) Pascarella. Samuel worked as a chef for many years in the Syracuse area. He enjoyed cooking, golfing and playing cards.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his siblings, Joseph (Mary Alice) Pascarella and Anntonette Pascarella.
Samuel is survived by three daughters, Gia Pascarella, Tina Pascarella and Rita Pascarella-Ronk (Dylan Ronk); his son, John Burgen; six grandchildren, Solomon J. Barron and fiancé, Elizabeth Simmons, Jaylen Barron, Ashley Burgen, Nichole Burgen, Leonidas Ronk and Giovanni Ronk; a great grandson, Solomon Jaguar Barron; his ex-wife, Donna (Baldino) Pascarella, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Samuel’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Assumption Church, 812 N. Salina St., Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PACE CNY or Meals on Wheels.
