Sandra J. Hoag's Obituary
Sandra J. Hoag passed away on September 11, 2023, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
Sandra was raised in Fulton, NY by her late parents, Eugene, and Helen Thompson.
She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Bruce Hoag, her son, Kip Hoag and grandchildren, William and Abigail Hoag and great granddaughter, Brielle Britton, daughter of Abigail Hoag.
Sandra graduated from Oswego State University and received her masters in Elementary Education from Oswego State. Sandra was a teacher for over 40 years. She taught in the Liverpool School District for most of her career. After retirement, she taught in North Carolina and finally in Florida. While in Liverpool she was extremely active in many organizations.
She volunteered her time as a cub scout leader and was extremely active with Seneca River North Little League Baseball organization. She was an active volunteer in the Liverpool Lacrosse Booster Club and volunteered her time as a Sunday school teacher at North Minister Presbyterian. While in Florida she volunteered with numerous organizations, but her main cause was the Flagler Volunteer Services.
Sandra was a devoted wife, amazing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
