Sara M. (Piraino) Urciuoli's Obituary
Sara M. (Piraino) Urciuoli, of DeWitt, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 8, 2024 at the age of 93. Sara, christened Rosaria Maria, was born to the late Peter and Lena (Nomifermo) Piraino and graduated from Eastwood High School. Sara was very active in sports and enjoyed tennis, water skiing, and bowling for most of her life, and loved to travel. She was also an accomplished artist, but her enduring passion was cooking for her family and the many guests her and Domenic entertained over the years. Sara leaves behind her children, Rick (Kandy) Urciuoli, David (Nancy) Urciuoli, and the memory of her loving daughter, Patricia Harlambides who passed away in 2003; her son-in-law, Stacey (Martine) Harlambides; six grandchildren; Nicholas Harlambides (Kristina), Jennifer Townsend (Ted),Elizabeth Cominoli (Michael), William Urciuoli (Laura), Sara Urciuoli (Molly Kocher), David Urciuoli (Christine), seven great-grandchildren; Myles & Max Harlambides, Henry & Georgia Townsend, Oliver Cominoli, Olivia & Henry Urciuoli, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the caregivers, Julia, Maegan, Valida, and many others for their tireless compassion and care for Sara and especially to Kandy, for all the years of care for both Domenic and Sara.
