Sarah J. (Marra) Cetola's Obituary
Sarah J. (Marra) Cetola, 89, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at the Francis House. She was born and raised in Syracuse and graduated from Central High and CCBI Business School. Sarah was a homemaker/housewife and went to work for the Syracuse Department of Parks and Recreation as a secretary after her kids were grown. She also volunteered for the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Daniel A. Cetola, Sr. in 2001 and her brother, Joseph Marra.
Sarah is survived by her four children, Daniel A. (Kay) Cetola, Jr., Richard Cetola, Cynthia (Robert) Putnam, and Jo Ellen (David) Guttmann; six grandchildren, Caitlin Cetola, Nicole Robert, and Daniel Putnam, Leo and Kyle Guttmann; her brother, Patsy (Carol) Marra of Camillus; her sister, Mary Jane Madison of Florida, along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services entrusted to the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment was held in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
