Sarah G. (LaManna) Fox 's Obituary
Sarah G. (LaManna) Fox, 88, of North Syracuse, passed away at home on Saturday, June 22, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse to the late Frank and Sarah (Ilacqua) LaManna and worked for Syracuse China for many years. Sarah loved spending time with family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed her weekly trips to the Turning Stone with her daughter.
Besides her parents, Sarah is also predeceased by her husband, Alan M. Fox, Sr. in February 2019.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele (Rick) Garlic; her son, Alan M. Fox, Jr.; two grandchildren, Wendy (Kenny) Holland and Ricky (Lisa) Garlic; three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Isabella and Leighton Alan; two sisters, Frances Bates and Josephine Nelson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 am on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Sarah’s life at 9:00 am at St. Daniel’s Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
