Serafina M. Vallar's Obituary
Serafina M. (Loiacono) Vallar, 94, of Liverpool passed away on Sunday at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family. She was employed with Continental Can Company for 19 years and loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Vallar in 1980. Serafina is survived by her 4 children; Louis P. (Judy) Vallar of N. Syracuse; Marie (John) Rauch of Liverpool; Camille Longo of Liverpool and Peter J. (Debra) Vallar of Liverpool; 5 grandsons; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Frank Loiacono of Syracuse and Samuel Loiacono of Canandaigua; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 9:00 AM in the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 10:00 AM in Assumption Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. Family and friends may call at the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to Assumption Church Restoration Fund.
